Social Media Manager
This is a full-time on-site role. The Social Media Manager will be leading the brand social media strategy and execution in conjunction with various internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to work full-time for Maiva. The work would mainly managing the social media marketing channels for strategy, content management and execution. The role would also involve outreach and to improve the brand outreach and marketing activity of the brand on digital channels.
Job Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Monitor trends and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
2. Content Creation & Management: Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality content for various social media channels, ensuring consistency with the brand's voice and messaging. Collaborate with the creative team to produce visuals, videos, and written content.
3. Influencer Management: Identify and build relationships with influencers and brand advocates. Coordinate influencer campaigns, negotiate contracts, and ensure deliverables are met. Analyse campaign performance and optimize strategies based on results.
4. Community Engagement: Manage social media communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive interactions and manage any potential issues or crises.
5. Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyse key performance metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to the management team, and adjust strategies based on data-driven decisions.
6. Creative Direction: Lead the creative direction for social media content, including themes, aesthetics, and campaign concepts. Ensure all content is innovative and engaging while maintaining brand consistency.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, PR, and customer service, to align social media efforts with broader company initiatives. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to overall marketing strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Experience: 5-8 years of experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns and influencer collaborations.
2. Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn,) and tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keeneye for detail and creativity.
3. Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Additional certifications in social media or digital marketing are a plus.
4. Creative Thinking: Ability to generate fresh, innovative ideas for social media content and campaigns. Experience in creative direction and working with designers and content creators.
5. Organization: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
